What You’ll Learn: In this training from our 2019 AcuGrowth Symposium, Dr. Larsen shares his extensive knowledge about auriculotherapy, and specifically, electrical stimulation of the auricle. You’ll get an overview of auriculotherapy, a range of effective treatment approaches, and tips for incorporating auriculotherapy into your clinical practice. Dr. Larsen has over 15 years of experience with auricular treatment and believes it is powerful adjunct or primary treatment option for a variety of practitioners and patients. Whether you’re a novice or a master, this course will open your eyes to the power of auriculotherapy, sharpen your skills and heighten your understanding of treating the ear.
Instructions: While viewing course materials, please consider these questions:
- Auriculotherapy has been shown effective for many issues and conditions. List three you currently treat this way, or plan to treat this way, in your practice:
- The presentation discusses important factors for providing effective auriculotherapy treatment. List three important factors:
- Describe the nature and function of “Master Points”
- What is the function of polarity in electrical treatment of the ear?
When you have completed the course work, you will be required to answer these questions on the course worksheet prior to receiving your end-of-course assessment for credit.
CEU Credit Information
After you have completed all required steps, including viewing the module, completing the worksheet and submitting the quiz, we will log your information with the appropriate credit-issuing agency (NCCAOM). Once we have logged your information, NCCAOM will send you an access link via email to download your official certificate. The certificate will show the date, your name, your license number, the course name and number, and the number of credits/hours attained.
Please await receipt of your official certificate from NCCAOM. It may take 2-5 business days.
What About California Credit?
If you need California credit, our California Provider number (#1028) will also be listed on your NCCAOM certificate. Many practitioners find this is all they need to satisfy requirements.
