1.5 CEU Credits – NCCAOM and California
*No Florida Credit Available
What You’ll Learn: In this course from our 2019 AcuGrowth Symposium, you’ll learn from Dr. Jared McCollum–a successful acupuncturist specializing in the 5 Elements, and emotions. Dr. McCollum has developed his own unique system for helping patients let go of difficult emotions using the theory of the 5 Elements. He has a great deal of experience helping patients overcome trauma and pain of the past. As the difficult emotions are released, physical symptoms will often fade and the patient will find deeper peace and greater vitality. In this condensed introduction to his full-length course, you’ll learn the basic principle of emotional core treatments, and you’ll understand how to use AcuGraph to help diagnose emotional imbalances that may be contributing to physical symptoms.
Instructions: While viewing course materials, please consider these questions:
- Explain the purpose of emotions and how they are helpful:
- Describe the six-step process necessary to fully release emotional imbalances:
- Describe how repression and expression of an emotion fits into the five element theory:
- Describe how gratitude is “the true home of emotion”
When you have completed the course work, you will be required to answer these questions on the course worksheet prior to receiving your end-of-course assessment for credit.
